DEV (dev.to) is a platform where software developers write articles, take part in discussions, and build their professional profiles. We value supportive and constructive dialogue in the pursuit of great code and career growth for all members. The ecosystem spans from beginner to advanced developers, and all are welcome to find their place within our community.
Tasks And Features
Students are welcome to work on any issues labeled as 'status: approved' in our repository. We also label certain issues with 'entry level' as an indicator that these are good first issues for new developers. Examples of tasks and features include:
- Supporting new color themes
- Adding more liquid tags to support external embeds
- Fixing bugs
Improving test coverage and refactoring are encouraged as well.

Thank you for your submission! I'm a fan of the dev.to community so I'm happy to approve it for our project list. We'll share the final list next week with all the projects for our community — I'll be in touch but don't hesitate to reach out (email@example.com) if you have any questions or need anything!

Hey Shafiya! Take a look at any of the issues in our repo labeled as "status: approved" and see if any of them interested you. Pull a few out that you'd like to tackle and I can provide some more info from there. Here is our installation guide for getting set up: https://docs.dev.to/installation/
